A picture taken on March 27, 1969 shows British musician and Beatles founder John Lennon (L) and his wife Yoko Ono (R) posing for photographers in Amsterdam. Her hair is in soft spikes and she is wearing her trademark round glasses. We meet in a Knightsbridge hotel, and afterwards she will go to open The Museum of Liverpool and meet the Queen. Someone in the camp could be manipulating events." By this, he means the New York-based Lennon "camp", under the control of Yoko Ono, Lennon's widow and the mother of Sean.Bound by professional obligations to the BBC, as well a natural sense of discretion, Peebles has never before told the story of the aftermath of his close, if improbable, friendship with John’s charismatic widow, Yoko Ono.
